Meet Dr. Anilkumar Gopi
Dr. Anilkumar Gopi has taken over the 51-year practice of Dr. Ronald Bentham following Dr. Bentham's retirement. Dr. Anilkumar graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the Kuvempu University, Karnataka India in 1998. He then worked as a clinical instructor in the Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics at the same university until 2006 when he moved on to full time private clinical practice. He completed the Nobel Fellow programme in Oral Implantology and Aesthetic Dentistry at Bangalore. He moved to Canada in 2012, completing the NDEB licensing process (DMD) in 2016. He is a member of the Canadian Dental Association and the BC Dental Association. He has received many awards at Indian Dental Association National conferences for his scientific presentations which include Smile and Aesthetics, Newer Concepts in Cosmetic Dentistry & Implantology. Dr. Anilkumar enjoys teaching as well as learning, to keep up with the current trends in dentistry. He is involved with Dent Art Training Academy, Vancouver, as the chief instructor mentoring internationally trained dentists pursuing their dental licensing process in Canada. He attends various continuing education courses and workshops as he believes continuing education is the key to be a successful dentist. He emphasizes the importance of patient care and motivation when it comes to maintaining dental health among his patients. During his free time, Dr. Anilkumar enjoys trying out different cuisines with his family, travel around and also loves to listen to music.
